Plumber (04 Positions)

The International University of East Africa (IUEA) invites applications from qualified, competent, and experienced individuals for the position of Plumber within the Estates and Facilities Department.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Install, repair, and maintain plumbing systems across university facilities (lecture halls, hostels, offices, and laboratories)
2. Diagnose faults and carry out timely repairs to water supply and drainage systems
3. Conduct routine inspections and preventive maintenance of plumbing infrastructure
4. Respond promptly to emergency plumbing issues
5. Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental standards
6. Maintain records of work completed and materials used

Minimum Requirements:

1. Certificate or Diploma in Plumbing or a related field
2. At least 2 years’ relevant experience, preferably in an institutional or large facility setting
3. Good knowledge of water systems, drainage, and maintenance practices
4. Ability to work independently and respond to emergencies
5. High level of integrity and professionalism
